By HelenaDW

Five open positions across Britain's hard tech sector this week, two software, two hardware, one ops.

Software Engineering & AI

Staff ML Engineer, Gaia — Wayve

Wayve's AI driver learns from camera data rather than detailed 3D maps. This role works on Gaia, the generative world model behind its simulation and training pipeline, from London.

  • Location: London (Hybrid)

Infrastructure Manager — Olix

Olix is building an Optical Tensor Processing Unit that uses photonics rather than GPU architecture for AI inference, with first products due in 2027. This role leads the team running its engineering infrastructure.

  • Location: London (On-site)

Hardware Engineering

DRAM Product Engineer — Fractile

Fractile builds in-memory computing processors that remove the data-shuttling bottleneck limiting conventional AI hardware. This role owns memory subsystem design and qualification at its new Bristol hardware facility.

  • Location: Bristol (Hybrid)

Electronics Engineer — Helsing
