  • Experience designing and implementing operational frameworks and cross-functional processes from the ground up.
  • Experience partnering with and influencing executive leadership to shape program strategy and translate goals into plans.
  • Experience navigating ambiguity and adapting project strategies within technical, policy, or government environments.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience managing programs in a technology, government, national security, or policy-focused organization.
  • Experience evaluating program success against strategic OKRs and sharing actionable insights to drive continuous improvement.
  • Proven ability to manage portfolios with a high element of organizational change, leveraging change management principles effectively.
  • Ability to act as an independent sounding board, utilizing coaching techniques to empower cross-functional teams.
  • High degree of curiosity and a demonstrated passion for acquiring new domain knowledge to enhance program impact.

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategy, planning, end-to-end delivery of complex workstreams across the frontier AI strategy and governance portfolio. Partner directly with team leads and cross-functional partners to shape workstream direction, translate ideas into actionable objectives and project plans, and track through to successful completion.
  • Drive collaboration across Google and partners, working closely with research scientists, strategy and policy colleagues and executive stakeholders to build structures that accelerate high-stakes research, governance and executive advisory initiatives.
  • Run the operating rhythm behind our executive-facing work: preparing and tracking executive leadership sessions, managing fast-turn requests from leadership, and ensuring decisions translate into follow-through.
  • Navigate high ambiguity, proactively identifying dependencies, mitigating risks, and implementing solutions to complex operational challenges.
  • Review and improve processes, information flows and decision making structures, leveraging data and AI tooling to identify opportunities and resolve pain points.
