PhysicsX builds an AI-native simulation platform for aerospace, defence, semiconductor and energy customers, having raised more than $450M to date. They're hiring a Delivery Operations Manager to shape prioritisation, capacity planning and workflow automation across delivery teams, hybrid from its Shoreditch office. This operations role sits within the UK's engineering AI sector.
As our Delivery Operations Manager, you will be at the centre of how we deploy and grow our Delivery teams as PhysicsX scales. You will bring together live and forward-looking input from Account Leads, Tech Leads, Commercial and Talent, combining it with accurate allocation and capacity data to build clear, decision-ready views, recommendations and tracked actions. From balancing competing project needs to managing bench, surge, skills gaps and upcoming transitions, you will help ensure the right people are deployed to the right work at the right time.
This is a highly collaborative and hands-on role, combining strong stakeholder management with operational rigour and confidence working with data. You will run and continually improve the end-to-end staffing process, maintain dependable resource-planning information, support the onboarding of new joiners and help translate future demand into hiring priorities. Over time, you will become the trusted owner of staffing operations and capacity insight, introducing clearer processes, better workflows and greater visibility across Delivery.

You've got 2-3+ years in a demanding, multi-functional environment - likely strategic operations, resource management, staffing, workforce planning, or something closely adjacent. You're equally comfortable in a CRM or staffing/ERP system, a spreadsheet, or a BI tool, and you know how to work across teams with competing priorities without losing the thread.
You communicate clearly in both directions - up to leadership, across to stakeholders - laying out decisions, options and constraints so nobody's guessing. You've probably worked in an enterprise-platform business that blends product and services, or in fast-paced consulting or professional services. And you've got real evidence of tightening up a process and using data to change how a decision got made, not just talking about it.
What matters more than years on paper is whether you're ready for the seniority this role demands - whether that's someone a few years in and moving fast, or someone more experienced stepping into full ownership.
What we're looking for:
Build what actually matters
Help shape an AI-native engineering company at a formative stage, tackling problems that genuinely matter for industry and society. This is work with real-world impact - and something you can be proud to stand behind.
Learn alongside exceptional people
Work with a high-caliber, collaborative team of engineers, scientists, and operators who care deeply about doing great work, and about helping each other get better. We come from diverse backgrounds, but we share a commitment to operating at the highest level and addressing some of the most complex challenges out there. If you’re ambitious, thoughtful, and driven by impact, you’ll feel at home.
Influence over hierarchy
We operate with a flat structure: good ideas win - wherever they come from. Questioning assumptions and challenging the status quo isn’t just welcomed, it’s expected.
Sustainable pace, long-term ambition
Building meaningful technology is a marathon, not a sprint. We believe in balancing focused, ambitious work with a life beyond it. Our hybrid model blends time together in our Shoreditch office with work-from-home days, giving you the flexibility to work sustainably while staying connected in person.
And it doesn’t stop there …
🚀 Equity options - share meaningfully in the company you’re helping to build.
🏦 10% employer pension contribution - because investing in future matters.
🍽️ Free office lunches - to keep you energised and focused.
👶 Enhanced parental leave - 3 months full pay paternity and 6 months full pay maternity leave, to provide extra flexibility during the moments that matter most.
🍼 YellowNest nursery scheme - to help working parents manage childcare costs.
☀️ 25 days of Annual Leave (+ Public Holidays) - because taking time to rest matters.
🏥 Private medical insurance - 100% employee cover, giving you complete peace of mind.
💪 Wellhub Subscription - gain access to thousands of gyms, classes and wellness apps, supporting both physical and mental wellbeing.
👀 Eye tests - because good work depends on good health.
📈 Personal development - dedicated support for learning, development, and leveling up over time.
💛 Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) - confidential wellbeing support, available whenever you need it.
🚲 Bike2Work scheme and 🚆 Season ticket loan - to make getting to work easier and greener.
🚗 Octopus EV salary sacrifice - for a simpler, more sustainable way to drive electric.
🔎 Watch this space, we’re continuing to build this as we grow…
PhysicsX was founded in 2020 in London by Robin Tuluie and Jacomo Corbo, both veterans of elite motorsport engineering. Tuluie previously led R&D at the Mercedes and Renault (Alpine) Formula 1 teams and served as Vehicle Technology Director at Bentley, while Corbo co-founded QuantumBlack (later acquired by McKinsey) and worked as a Formula 1 chief race strategist. The company builds an AI-native simulation platform that embeds physics neural operators directly into engineering workflows, predicting how products will behave in seconds rather than the hours or days traditional simulation demands. PhysicsX serves aerospace and defence, semiconductors, automotive, materials, and energy customers, and has partnered with Siemens and NVIDIA on data centre power infrastructure. The company has raised more than $450M to date, including a $135M Series B led by Atomico in 2025 and a £225M Series C led by Temasek and M&G Investments in 2026.
