We’re looking for an experienced Electrical Technician to join our team in Segensworth. You’ll play a key role in delivering safe, high‑quality electrical maintenance, installations, and project work, ensuring all activities are compliant with regulations and Kraken standards.

Carrying out electrical maintenance, fault finding, repairs, and installations Ensuring compliance with electrical regulations, safety standards, and internal policies Performing routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems and equipment Supporting and mentoring team members with technical guidance and best practice Working closely with Mechanical, Operations, Safety, and Quality teams on cross‑functional tasks Diagnosing and resolving electrical faults to minimise downtime and maximise productivity Maintaining accurate records of work completed, parts used, and time spent Supporting material ordering, budgeting activities, and stock control for electrical supplies
Recognised qualification in Electrical/Marine Engineering or a related field In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and standards Significant relevant and recent production experience in the marine industry Have a good understanding of boat building techniques and processes In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and Engineering standards
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities Effective communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in Microsoft Office
